Sharjah24: Al Subaihiya District Council organised a festive evening gathering in Khorfakkan Sports and Cultural Club on the occasion of the club's coronation as a champion of the UAE Futsal Federation Cup.
At the beginning of the evening, the Chairman of the Council, His Excellency Ahmed Al-Ghawi Al-Naqbi, expressed the happiness of the people of Khorfakkan with this sporting achievement, which made everyone happy with the Khorfakkan Club winning the Federation Cup for Futsal after an honorable performance throughout the sports season.
During the evening, the efforts of the Khorfakkan Club Board of Directors were commended, as well as the technical and administrative staff of Khorfakkan after the busy march, with the importance of looking at the championships achieved by the club since 2013.
A number of attendees gave speeches praising the sporting achievement, which were complemented by praise and appreciation for His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, who provided great and generous support to sports in the Emirate of Sharjah and his interest in clubs.
