Sharjah 24: "Our Islam is a Civilisation" programme, presented by Awad bin Hasoum Al Darmaki on Sharjah TV daily at 4:45 pm, stops at the landmarks of human and civilised advancement of the Islamic Renaissance, which extended for more than a thousand years, until it became a material and spiritual force that took man to happiness, and planted in the human society the foundations of cooperation, brotherhood, security, tranquility and prosperity, and established the values of justice, order and freedom.

In each episode held at Museum of Islamic Civilisation in Sharjah, the programme features the aesthetics of Islamic civilisation and the high-end curricula introduced by the purified Sharia. It highlights the scientific achievements of Islamic civilisation to show its impact on Western civilisation and the contributions of Muslim scholars in establishing modern sciences and crystallising the authentic Islamic values that encourage the pursuit of knowledge and building of the earth.

Al Darmaki also narrates influential stories of prominent figures from the founders of Islamic civilisation in various knowledge and scientific sectors, who filled their time with knowledge and provided humanitarian offices with thousands of volumes in various sciences, the effects of which have so far remained tremendous treasures.

The programme emphasises the comprehensiveness and humanity of the Islamic civilization as Islam has prepared for Muslims all the reasons for progress and advancement, and pushed them to the peaks of glory, both material and moral, at both individuals and groups levels.
