Sharjah24: Sharjah Human Resources Department organised, in conjunction with Ramadan, a workshop entitled (The Truth of Fasting), presented to the followers and attendees remotely, by Dr. Salem Muhammad Al Doubi from Islamic Affairs Department of in Sharjah.

The workshop, which was called through the electronic system and implemented through (Microsoft Teams), targeted employees of all functional levels from all cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah and its central and eastern regions.

Dr. Salem Al-Doubi discussed the ruling and the reasons for which God legislated fasting and spoke to the participants about the effect of fasting in achieving piety in the soul of the fasting person, and considering fasting as a great school in which a person learns kindness in worship.

The lecturer talked about the importance of Islamic brotherhood and the effect of fasting on sensing the needs of the poor and needy, and explained to the participants the interest in the reality of fasting and the keenness on worship, including the night prayers and Tarawih prayers.
