Sharjah24: Sheikh Saud Bin Abdulaziz Al Mualla, Chairman of the Sharjah Cultural and Chess Club and President of the Arab Chess Federation, explained that the successes of the 27th session of the Sharjah International Chess Championship (SICC) over the past 27 years was directed by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, emphasising that the SICC is one of the strongest open championships.

Sheikh Saud Bin Abdulaziz Al Mualla has expressed pride with the development and organisation of the Sharjah International Chess Championship, stressing that Championship witnessed the presence of a large number of international players.

In statements to "Sharjah 24", Sheikh Saud indicated that all international players are waiting for this Championship, which is considered one of the strongest open Championships in the world.
