The municipal inspection teams have taken the necessary measures against all types of violations, raising the members of the public about the importance of adhering to regulations and laws, especially maintaining cleanliness in various areas that witness high demand during the winter season, such as green areas.
In this context, Adel Omar, Director of the Monitoring and Inspection Department at Sharjah City Municipality, confirmed that the municipality carried out 41 inspection tours, including 44,000 visits, to monitor all distortions of the general appearance, which reflects the municipality's keenness and interest in providing an ideal atmosphere for residents and visitors in the smiling emirate.
Commenting on this, Adel Omar stated that during these campaigns, about 7,171 neglected and distorted vehicles were withdrawn for distorting the public appearance. During their inspection visits last year, the inspection teams monitored 1,248 random markets in various regions of the Emirate, and the municipality took the necessary measures in this regard.
He stated that the Municipality carried out awareness campaigns for tenants and real estate owners about the risks of shared or random housing, and periodically monitored residential areas to limit the accommodation of violators and singles in areas designated for families.
