Sharjah 24: As part of its integrative project "Theatre and Performing Arts," the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators announced the launch of the Al Furjan Theatre 2022 project, which it organizes under the motto "Family Loves Theatre" during the media session held in the external arena at the Wasit Young Adults Centre.
Dr. Adnan Salloum, a theatre arts specialist who oversees theatre and performance arts projects at "Rubu' Qarn," reviewed the details of the project, its stages of implementation, and the requirements for participation.
The project includes presenting a variety of virtual workshops in preparation for presenting shows and announcing the final results from November 10 to 13.
Prize money from the Rubu' Qarn Foundation has been allotted to reward Rubu' Qarn members for their outstanding efforts, including gold, silver, and bronze medals for top performers, as well as cash rewards for the best coach.
A puppet show titled "Above the Earth, Under the Sky" and a play titled "They Made Me a Criminal" were performed by the theatre team at the Wasit Youth Centre to raise awareness about bullying and its effect on society.
