Sharjah24: In its first Ramadan activities, the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club (MCSC) organised a lecture delivered by Sheikh Sherzad Abdul Rahman Taher, Secretary General of Holy Quran Academy (HQA), at the club’s headquarters entitled (Ramadan and the Qur’an).

The lecture was attended by His Excellency Mohammed Sultan Al Khassouni, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club, Nasser Al Mahrezi, Board Member, a number of invitees, the people of Mleiha area, the athletes and the administrative and technical bodies of the club, shedding light on the significance of reciting the Holy Quran during this blessing month.

At the beginning of the lecture, Sheikh Sherzad thanked the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club for this invitation to give a lecture on an important topic that comes with the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, entitled (Ramadan and the Qur’an), congratulating the UAE leadership and people by the holy month of Ramadan.

He has highlighted the importance of the Holy Qur’an in the nights and days of the holy month of Ramadan, stressing that Ramadan is the holiest time in the year and it is the time of intense spiritual growth.

He also spoke about the importance of reciting the Holy Quran Daily, calling on building a strong relationship with it.

His Excellency Mohammed Sultan Al Khassouni honoured Sheikh Sherzad in the presence of the members of the Board of Directors.
