Sharjah24: Al Rahmaniyah Suburb Council affiliated to the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs in the Government of Sharjah launched (Khattar) initiative that coincided with its objectives in developing communication between families in the suburb .
The new community initiative "Khattar" embodies a qualitative vision to work on reviving the custom of traditional visits between neighbors, which is one of the popular customs inherited in light of the control of modern life variables and the spread of social media that weakened the visitation between families.
The initiative works on bringing members of the Rahmaniya suburb council to select councils for the people with the participation of neighbors to achieve close mutual acquaintance between the council and the residents of the suburb in order to meet their needs.
Al Rahmaniyah Suburb Council visited the home of the citizen Saeed Abdullah Jaber Al-Nuaimi, located in Shagrafa 2 area of the Rahmaniyah Suburb Council, in the presence of His Excellency Ahmed Al Matroushi, Chairman of the Council, His Excellency Majid Al Shamsi, Vice Chairman of Al Rahmaniyah Suburb Council, and a number of members of the Council.
Al-Matrooshi explained that this initiative aims to strengthen social ties and spread mutual trust and solidarity among the people of the same neighborhood, thus contributing to strengthening the atmosphere of compassion, affection and intimacy among the residents, and immunizing young people against abnormal behaviors and negative phenomena extraneous to our local community. Including preserving its meat and cultural identity.
Majid Al Shamsi, Vice-Chairman of the Rahmaniyah Suburb Council expressed his deep gratitude to the neighbor Saeed Al Nuaimi for hosting this initiative, which will include all areas of the Rahmaniyah Suburb, in addition to external visits to introduce the council’s tasks and roles and closely identify the needs of the people.
