SSEF, UoS Dental Clinic enhance health of 50 orphans' families

Sharjah24: Fifty beneficiaries of the families of orphans affiliated with the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF) underwent medical examinations and dental treatment provided by the University of Sharjah Mobile Dental Clinic over two consecutive days. This cooperation came within the framework of supporting the health aspect provided to the Foundation's affiliates.
The specialised medical team provided the necessary examination, diagnosis, and medical treatments in the mobile clinic equipped with the latest technologies.

Nawal Al Hammadi, Director of the Social Welfare Department, said: "In the interest of the Foundation to empower its members with health and provide them with all the elements of health care, leading to a healthy lifestyle. The cooperation came with the University of Sharjah Mobile Clinic to align with the Foundation's orientation in health empowerment. The Clinic is responsive and cooperative with the Foundation, providing free examinations and necessary treatments.

Dr. Hessa Aref Al Shamsi, the doctor in charge of the University of Sharjah Mobile Dental Clinic, stated that the mobile clinic is the first of its kind in the region, as it was established in 2016 as a charitable initiative by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to reach all community members, which find it challenging to obtain dental services such as the elderly, people with disabilities, and orphans in Sharjah and the eastern and central regions.
