Sharjah 24: Aisha Othman, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Marami electronic magazine, issued by the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, announced the organisation of a large number of various events in the fifth session of the Sharjah Festival for Culture and People in Al Yash Park.
Aisha Othman confirmed that the activities of the fifth edition of the Sharjah Festival for Culture and People are being held under the generous patronage of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah’s wife, Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah. Its activities will be held until March 31, in Al Yash Park in the Emirate of Sharjah.
She added to “Sharjah 24” that the current session of the festival is being organised after a two-year hiatus due to the quarantine conditions imposed by Corona, where various family cultural, entertainment and artistic activities are held in a modern style that attracts family members, in a garden serving one of the residential neighbourhoods in the Emirate of Sharjah, with the aim of conveying the office's message and objectives to the community and to revive the annual and operational activities of the office and deliver them to the largest possible number of beneficiaries, and to monitor the interaction of the public to be part of the event as a participant and not as an audience, and with the participation of different sectors, which contribute to supporting the cultural movement in the community.
Aisha Othman pointed out that the festival is held in cooperation with a number of partners and institutions, and the Cultural and Media Office presents, through its platform in this session of the festival, a number of programmes, activities and various daily events.
