Sharjah 24: Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) will hold its thirteenth session on the thirty-first of March, as part of its work for the third ordinary session of the tenth legislative term at its headquarters in the city of Sharjah, headed by His Excellency Ali Mehad Al Suwaidi, Chairman of SCC.
After ratification of the minutes of the twelfth session, the agenda included a parliamentary question, submitted by HE Member Jassem Jumaa Al Mazmi, addressed to the Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA) in the Emirate of Sharjah on efforts made to maintain air quality and reduce harmful emissions from industrial facilities. The question included the aspects of oversight and review of the written response received from EPAA in addition to discussing the policy recommendations of the Department of Town Planning and Survey (DTPS).
