Sharjah 24: In order to document all the recommendations issued by Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC), after discussing the general and specific issues related to the policies of government departments and agencies, SCC General Secretariat issued a new publication under the name (Recommendations of the Consultative Council).
The publication is the latest of the Consultative Council, which documents all the recommendations issued by SCC from the first legislative term to the tenth legislative term, to address all the recommendations approved by the Council since its establishment in 1999.
The new edition documents the Council's recommendations, which are the summary of the discussions and deliberations raised by the members of the Council in the plenary sessions discussing the policies of government departments and bodies, and recommendations to be submitted to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and to the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah headed by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.
The publication complements the policies of the Consultative Council to document its work and its most prominent achievements. The publication reflects recommendations issued after an extensive discussion with representatives of government departments consolidating the principle of shura in society, and developing roles between citizens’ participation with government agencies in decision-making, which is reflected in the comprehensive development process of the Emirate of Sharjah.
His Excellency Ahmed Saeed Al Jarwan, Secretary-General of Sharjah Consultative Council stressed the importance of the Council’s General Secretariat issuing its new publication (Recommendations of the Consultative Council) to highlight all the recommendations issued by SCC at the end of its sessions, and the keenness of the Council members and government agencies to reach recommendations that benefit the community through services and business.
The publication, which comes within a series of SCC publications, highlights the role of the wise leadership in involving citizens to contribute positively to the issues of the UAE through the Consultative Council.
Al Jarwan explained that this publication comes in six volumes, so that each volume includes four years of the council’s recommendations, since the council’s establishment in 1999 until the end of the second regular session of the tenth legislative term.
