Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Consultative Council's (SCC) Family Affairs Committee convened at the council's Sharjah headquarters to consider a strategy for a series of community service programmes.
The committee commended His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and his wife, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Supreme Family Council, for their attention to and care for families in order to enhance their interconnection and concern for their members, as well as to make society keener on giving.

Fatima Ali Al-Muhairi, the committee's chairwoman, chaired the meeting, which was attended by committee members and members of the Council's General Secretariat.

The committee reviewed its various initiatives and emphasized the critical nature of continuing to provide high-quality integrated services, and programmes that advance the family's role and responsibility, as well as parents' and children's sense of belonging, in order to advance society.
