Sharjah24: Under the patronage of Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, President of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, the Cultural and Media Office of the Council, in cooperation with the Research Institute for Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Sharjah, held the 2nd edition of the Family Media Forum (FMF).
The Forum is held virtually on "Zoom", from March 15-16.

The first day included a study on the role of digital media in shaping the value of families in Sharjah, while the second day includes two interactive workshops on the charisma of digital appearance, influencers, and family values.

Salha Ghabish, Head of the Cultural and Media Office, stated that the office decided that the topic of this session should be based on the analytical study of digital media's role in shaping families' values and negatively affecting young people's behavior and children and how to confront them.

On the first day of the Forum, the research team presented their study on the impact of digital media on families.

The study recommended the necessity of establishing groups of young influencers and presenting the concept of media education in schools, in addition to cooperating with local media and diversifying the contents of media activities.
