Sharjah24: Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, honoured the winner of the main race in the Equestrian Championship of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah 2022, Sunday afternoon.

The race was on the Sharjah Longines track at Sharjah Equestrian Racing Club.

The winning horse, “A F Maqam”, is owned by Khalid Khalifa Al Nabooda, and led by jockey Tadhg O’Shea. 
75 horses of purebred Arabian horses, local production horses, and purebred hybrid horses participated in the race in cooperation with the Emirates Racing Authority, sponsored by Longines.

The prizes of the fifth round of the race, the main round, were AED250 thousand, allocated to local purebred Arabian horses.

The race was attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid Al Qasimi, President of the SERC, and several officials and horse riding enthusiasts.
