Sharjah24: Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the Sharjah Equestrian and Racing Club (SERC) is organising the “The 23rd Sharjah International Arabian Horse Festival”, in cooperation with the European Conference of Arab Horse Organizations (ECAHO), sponsored by the Sharjah Airport Authority (SAA), the Sharjah Sports Council, and in cooperation with the Emirates Arabian Horse Society (EAHS).

The festival begins on Friday, March 5th and ends on Sunday, March 7.

Ali Salem Al Midfa, Chairman of the SAA, stated that the festival is of great interest for equestrian and purebred Arabian horse enthusiasts. The success of the festival is attributed to the great care and attention given by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the excellence and efficiency of the SERC.

Sultan Khalifa Al Yahyai,  Director General of the SERC and Member of the SSC, expressed his gratitude towards His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and to Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, for the unlimited support for equestrian sports in general and the Arabian horse in particular.

The festival was approved by ECAHO , making its mark in the world of Arabian horse beauty competitions.

The festival is witnessing a great competition of horses participating from nine countries.
