Sharjah24: His Highness Sheikh Salem bin Abdul Rahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ruler’s office, honoured Sharjah Awqaf Department in a ceremony that honoured the participating and supporting entities for the UAE Innovation Month in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The department participated in a pavilion within the activities of the UAE Innovation Month, which was held in the Boys' Colleges at the University of Sharjah, during which Sharjah Awqaf Department presented the initiative of the e-donation platform and the digital maps initiative for donations locations.
His Excellency Talib Al Marri, Director General of the Department, received a certificate of appreciation from His Highness Sheikh Salem bin Abdul Rahman Al Qasimi, expressing the Sharjah Awqaf Department keenness to participate in such events that reflect its strategy based on the vision of the UAE leadership that stimulates innovation of ideas, adoption of innovations and achievement of milestones in the sustainable development process.
His Excellency Talib Al Marri stressed the department's keenness to support the vision of the wise leadership by providing modern services that live up to the efforts of the UAE government and its vision in the complete digital transformation of services in a way that enhances the quality of life for the UAE community.
