Touring both exhibitions, including more than 75 local and international educational and academic institutions, and dozens of government and private bodies and institutions, Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi was briefed on the different services and opportunities offered by the different authorities to the students and graduates who visit both exhibitions.
Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi met with a number of officials of the participating entities in the National Career Exhibition, and was briefed on the fields of employment, job opportunities and training programmes provided to Emirati graduates.
The International Education Show, held in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the Sharjah Private Education Authority, offers many of the latest education programmes and a wide range of learning options from universities, colleges, higher education institutes, commercial schools, technical institutes and administrative training centres from around the world.
The National Career Exhibition, held in cooperation with the Emirates institute for banking and financial studies (EIBFS), provides many job opportunities that will be presented by the participating government and private sector agencies, in addition to providing many workshops and training programmes to help young Emiratis secure appropriate job opportunities.
The opening of the both exhibitions was attended by His Excellency Abdullah bin Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Expo Centre Sharjah; Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadim, Chairman of Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources (SDHR); His Excellency Dr. Khalid Omar Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Media City (Shams); a number of Board members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Expo Centre; Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director General of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of the Sharjah Expo Centre; a number of officials and directors of federal and local departments and institutions; banks directors; event sponsors and media representatives.
