Sharjah24: Sheikh Sherzad Abdul Rahman Taher, Secretary-General of the Holy Quran Academy, gave an explanation about the complex and its museum and scientific sections, referring to its role in caring for the Quran and its sciences to advance the human being, this came when he received in his office a group of singers participating in the 13th session of the Sharjah Munshid Programme presented by Sharjah Broadcasting Authority.
Ismael Al Shaibani, a programme presenter at the authority, said, "We were honoured to visit the Holy Quran Academy, and we stood on the figures of the Quran and famous reciters and toured the museums and departments.
For their part, a number of vocalists expressed their admiration for the Holy Quran Academy and the sciences and knowledge it contains. The visit of the singers participating in the Sharjah Munshid Programme in its 13th session, who represent various Arab countries to the Academy, came as part of introductory visits to the most important cultural landmarks in the Emirate of Sharjah.
