Sharjah24: After strong competitions that were held in 6 Arab countries and online, in which 1,240 applicants of different nationalities and age groups participated, 12 contestants from 12 Arab countries qualified for the 13th edition of the "Sharjah Munshid" programmme, organised by Sharjah TV, which is affiliated with the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority.
The competitions between the contestants will start on March 24 at Al Majaz Amphitheatre in Sharjah, under the supervision of coaches Waseem Fares, Mustafa Hamdo and Sherif Mohsen, who will present their chanting and musical experiences to the finalists.
The rounds of preliminary performance tests to select outstanding talents in singing started on December 18 and lasted until January 1 in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Egypt, Jordan and Algeria, in addition to the online tests during the same period.
