Sharjah 24: Munshid Sharjah, organised by Sharjah TV, affiliated with the Sharjah Broadcast Authority (SBA), announced the end of the preliminary test for the 13th session, with the participation of 1240 singing talents of different nationalities and ages, who applied to the online performance tests in the United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Morocco, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, to qualify for the next stage of the programme’s qualifiers, so that a contestant from each country will be selected.
The programme’s testing committee in Saudi Arabia received 42 participants, including talents from Yemen, Sudan and Syria;  245 participants participated in the tests in Algeria; 59 participated in Jordan, including talents from Iraq, Syria and Palestine, while the jury in the UAE received 37 participants from different nationalities; 310 participants in Egypt; and 73 participants in Morocco.  465 participants from all Arab countries, Europe and the United States took online performance tests.

Najm Al Din Hashem, the executive producer of the programme said that Munshid Sharjah saw a wide turnout in performance tests participation, whereas the singing talents were keen to show their talents through the programme, which makes Munshid Sharjah an academy and a beacon of art. 

Najm Al Din Hashem  added that Munshid Sharjah has become an attractive factor for talents to enrich their experience in the field of singing, whereas many talents meet in Sharjah.

Najm Al Din Hashem  added that the programme looks for unique rich and diversified colours of singing, and the ability of new generations of young talents to transmit, develop and present the legacy of purposeful art with beautiful voices, and this is the goal that Munshid Sharjah seeks

The Sharjah Munshid programme is one of the most important competition programmes aimed at discovering chanting talents in the Arab world, over the past 15 years, it has contributed to the graduation of dozens of singers who have gained a prominent position in this field, and their presence has become a great presence in the circles of purposeful art.
