Central Region Council concludes the Young Innovators Exhibition

Sharjah 24: The Central Region Parents Council of Sharjah Education Council (SEC), in cooperation with the “Thank you for volunteering” team, organised the "Young Innovators" exhibition, coinciding with the innovation month that embodies the UAE vision for the next fifty years.
The exhibition held at the council's headquarters in Al Dhaid, aimed to support innovative children and celebrate their ideas and creativity, with the participation of 50 innovators.

The exhibition was keen to embody the aspirations and visions of the wise leadership to consolidate innovation, support readiness for the future and enhance the position of tomorrow's generations, through a realistic exhibition that brings together innovative thinking minds.

The exhibition activities were attended by Rashid Abdullah Al Mahyan, Chairman of the Council, Saeed Obaid Balaith, Chairman of the Council’s Research and Studies Committee, Afra Khadem bin Halis, Chairman of the Committee for Excellence and Institutional Development, Saif Abdul Rahman, founder and head of the team, and a number of parents.

His Excellency Rashid Al Mahyan stressed that the UAE, under the directives of the wise leadership, has made important steps in activating digital transformation, creating the conditions for consolidating an environment conducive to innovation and comprehensive development of initiatives frameworks that represent a strong basis for achieving the desired goals and moving to the next fifty years in line with the developments witnessed by the UAE in different fields of prosperity, development and renaissance.

Sheikh Dr. Salem bin Rakkad Al Ameri, a former Federal National Council member, said that the exhibition includes a diversity of ideas to promote the culture of innovation among children, who represent the ambition of a bright future and the basis for building the directions of the UAE in the next fifty years, and supporting its goals of achieving technical, digital and scientific excellence.

Sheikh Dr. Salem bin Rakkad Al Ameri praised the remarkable children response, passion for the exhibition, and keenness to interact with the idea and objectives of the exhibition, which confirms the importance of such exhibitions in enriching experiences aimed at instilling a culture of innovation in the hearts of all to achieve the future aspirations of the UAE.

Hanim Shaaban, a member of the Board of Directors of the “Thank you for volunteering” team, said that the exhibition reflects the scientific and technological development that the UAE has reached across different sectors, in anticipation of a promising future led by young people, and in implementation of the vision of the wise leadership.
