Sharjah24: The Criminal Investigation Department of the General Command of Sharjah Police has successfully to decipher a murder mystery, where an Asian worker in his forties was killed. Some parts of his body were found dumped in the garbage in order to getting rid of the traces of the crime. The perpetrator was arrested within 12 hours after identification of the victim.
Sharjah police members explained details of the crime where the police headquarters received a report from one of the companies working in the field of waste in the emirate, stating that body parts of an incomplete human body were found, and accordingly the concerned teams moved to the site to carry out their tasks, which required sorting more than 1500/ tons of waste, to search for other parts of the victim.
The efforts made by the criminal investigation officers resulted in the quick identification of the victim, as it turned out that he was a man in his forties, working as a driver for one of the institutions in the emirate.
Colonel Omar Bou Al-Zoud, Director of the Department of Criminal Investigation, indicated that the heinous criminal required the detectives to make double efforts to reach the offender as soon as possible, as those efforts culminated in identifying his identity, as it was found that he is of the same nationality as the victim, and he did this ugly criminal method as a result of personal problems between them.
His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, praised the efficiency of the criminal investigation officers in Sharjah Police, and their constant keenness to maintain security and safety in the emirate, with their high security knowledge and expertise, which contributed to uncovering the mystery of that crime, and the speed of access to the offender within only 12 hours.
