Sharjah24: Dibba Al Hisn Municipal Council met at its headquarters Sharjah Municipal Council, with the aim of strengthening cooperation between the municipal councils of the cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah, in implementation of the high directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, in permanent coordination between municipal councils and discuss common topics.
At the beginning of the meeting, the two councils congrats His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for receiving the certificate of accreditation of Sharjah as a healthy city for the second time by the World Health Organization, in addition to the opening of Sharjah Safari.
The attendees discussed a number of common topics and the challenges they face. The two sides stressed the importance of coordination between municipal councils in order to serve the citizens of the Emirate of Sharjah.
The meeting touched on a number of proposals that would enhance cooperation between municipal councils and other departments, such as organising periodic meetings between municipal councils, and annual meetings with government departments with joint jurisdiction with municipal councils.
