Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Police achieved first place, and for the second time in its participation in the annual Sharjah Excellence Award, as the first in the category of "Sharjah Green Award", in its edition for the year 2020/2021, organised by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
This comes with the participation of 120 government and private institution in the Emirate, including a number of entrepreneurs who support social responsibility, excellence and comprehensive quality that enhance the UAE's position as a major destination for investment and growth in the region.
The criteria for evaluating the award, which came under the supervision of specialists in the areas of institutional excellence, green practices, social responsibility, and entrepreneurship, involved a measurement of the most important capabilities and support to improve environmental procedures, such as employee education and awareness, community initiatives, energy and waste management, and the application of green procurement policies.
Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, stated that Sharjah Police is keen to participate annually in the Sharjah Excellence Award in its various categories, and to enhance its role in various fields.
