Sharjah 24: Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police (SP), chaired the second meeting of the Permanent Higher Command Committee for the year 2022 of the Sharjah Police, held, on Friday, in the meeting room at the headquarters.
This came in the presence of Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amir, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, general managers, and members of the Permanent Higher Committee.

At the beginning of the meeting, Major General Al Shamsi valued the unlimited support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for the Sharjah Police, which is reflected in the new criminal laboratory building, opened in the past two days.

Al Shamsi confirmed that this falls in the interest of His Highness in meeting the needs of workers in the Sharjah Police and providing them with the appropriate work environment to raise the level of security and police work, stressing that His Highness' generous gifts push the wheel of progress and pioneering excellence in government institutions in the Emirate.

The meeting discussed its agenda, decisions and recommendations issued by the previous meeting, and reviewed the results and achievements of the committee in the past year. 

It also reviewed the study presented to update a number of work procedures in the penal and correctional institution, in addition to discussing a number of axes aimed at enhancing the quality of security and community life.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police expressed his thanks to the attendees, directing the need to work to achieve the highest rates in the various areas entrusted with police work in accordance with the best practices globally.
