Sharjah24: Mona bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Sharjah Social Empowerment Foundation (SSEF), chaired the coordination meeting to launch the Ramadan campaign "Zakki" for the fourth year in a row, which is organised by the Foundation to serve 2,605 orphans belonging to 1,093 families in the Emirate of Sharjah and the central and eastern regions, with their annual budget estimated to be 12 million dirhams.

Al Suwaidi has highlighted the importance of this campaign, stressing that through launching "Zakki" Ramadan campaign, the Foundation aims to activate humanitarian projects and services that meet the needs of orphan families in the holy month of Ramadan. She also shed lights on the SSEF’s objectives, aiming to provide all the assistance and services to the Foundation’s affiliates, contributing in achieving the social prosperity for them.

She added that the Foundation will also launch a special electronic link to facilitate donations for the campaign projects, motivating all community members and institutions to promote the values of community solidarity and activate the social and humanitarian role towards orphan families.

Her Excellency stated that the " Zakki " campaign will include a set of various Ramadan projects in support of orphans' families in the holy month, ensuring to provide various aspects of empowerment to them. She also highlighted the Foundation’s different empowerment projects that serve the orphans and meet all their needs.

The Foundation is keen throughout the year to provide comprehensive care for the orphans , ensuring to provide comprehensive services in all their needs, through adopting different programs and projects that empower the orphans and achieve stability among the families of orphans.
