Sharjah 24: In the presence of His Excellency Ahmed bin Rakkad Al Ameri, Chairman of the Sharjah Book Authority (SBA), the authority organised a panel discussion entitled "A Writer's Reflection", during which SBA hosted Kuwaiti writers Mishaal Hamad and Fahd Al Bashara, at the Khorfakkan Resistance Monument.
Kuwaiti writer and novelist Mishaal Hamad expressed his happiness to visit the city of Khorfakkan and to learn about the city heritage and historical landmarks, describing the city as beautiful in all its details.
Speaking exclusively to Sharjah 24, on the sidelines of the panel discussion, in which he participated alongside writer Fahd Al Bashara, Mishaal Hamad said that the session organised by SBA touched on the arts of writing, especially literary writing and the art of novel.
Hamad expressed his happiness to participate in the panel discussion held at the Khorfakkan Resistance Monument, which is one of the historical symbols of the city, Sharjah and the UAE.
Hamad added that such panel discussions would raise awareness, and help those interested in the cultural event and new writers refine and develop their talents, and exchange visions and experiences that benefit everyone.
The session, which was moderated by the media figure, Abdul Raouf Amira, was attended by His Excellency Ahmed bin Rakad Al Ameri, Chairman of the Sharjah Book Authority, His Excellency Dr. Rashid Khamis Al Naqbi, Chairman of Khorfakkan Municipal Council, and a crowd of officials and those interested in culture.
