FUNN opens window to exciting world of anime learners at SHASHAH

In line with FUNN’s mission of stimulating children’s creativity and imagination with new media art forms, SHASHAH will connect the anime community across Sharjah and the UAE through an exciting range of workshops, cosplays, competitions, talks, films,, and more. Evoking the bright colours and fantastic tales of the popular comics, this year’s edition of SHASHAH promises to be a playground of anime-themed activities where children and youth can express themselves through their talent and learn new skills.

Young artists and animators can add anime to their repertoire of styles at the Anime Zone, where three studios will guide them through the ideation, sketching and production processes.

As well as creating anime, enthusiasts of the genre can also enter the immersive 360-degree world of Tokyo Chronos and play the VR Mystery Visual Novel game at the VR Zone. VR gear and disposable face masks will be provided for game enthusiasts.

Creators and fans of anime can also display their work and sell their products at the Artist’s Alley while visitors can stop by a range of attractions and take breaks in the seating areas under the canopy of blossoming Sakura trees or origami shades.
