Sharjah24: Sheikha Jawaher bint Abdullah Al Qasimi, Director of FUNN and, Director of the Sharjah International Film Festival for Children and Youth, confirmed that this year the festival has turned into a completely virtual festival due to the conditions of the Coronavirus pandemic and to preserve the safety of all, registration for the festival is done through the website www.siff.ae and after registration, the site is downloaded in 3D, which is an easy way to use for everyone.
In exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24", Sheikha Jawaher stated that the Foundation seeks to advance cinematic art and focus on educating children about the cultures of different countries and the method of film work, whether in directing or scriptwriting, to make the festival attractive and enjoyable by integrating the landmarks of Sharjah in the festival, and there are different films, including those made by Children, including cartoons, short and long films.

The Director of FUNN added that films were shown for the first time in the world, UAE and the Middle East, where 80 films from 38 countries were shown, and these films were accompanied by 30 workshops for all ages of children and youth, and panel discussions, and visitors from the festival registered, all over the world such as Russia, Iraq, Palestine and America.
