The committee visited the headquarters of the Department of Planning and Survey in Kalba city, in the framework of the committee's visit to all branches of the department outside the city of Sharjah and to meet with those in charge as part of its work for the third regular session of the tenth legislative term.
The visit was made by members of the committee, His Excellency Obaid Awad Al Tunaiji, the Chairman of the Committee, and the members of the Committee His Excellency Obaid Muhammad Al Qadeed Al Tunaiji, the Rapporteur of the Committee, His Excellency Ahmed Rashid Ali Al Naqbi, His Excellency Ali Saif Al Nadas, and a number of officials.
While the committee was received by Eng. Abdullah Makhlouf Al Naqbi, Director of the Central Region Branches, Eng. Ahmed bin Nuhaila, Director of the Transaction Centre in the Department, Engineer Hanadi Al Zaabi, Director of Kalba Branch, Engineer Amal Al Zaabi and Engineer Amira Al Hammadi.
During the meeting, Engineer Hanadi Al Zaabi, director of the department’s branch in Kalba, briefed the committee members from the advisory council on the department’s follow-up to all housing plans in Kalba, especially in the new areas, taking into account the planning of several aspects, as well as the increase in the density of the current areas and the rehabilitation and planning of the old areas.
Engineer Hanadi Al Zaabi touched on the department's consideration of providing community services and public utilities, and creating an appropriate residential environment, taking into account health services, recreational services, educational services, and security services.
Engineer Hanadi Al Zaabi pointing out that the department's customer service centre provides services at the highest level for individuals and private partnerships of consultants and contractors, stressing that the department's branch was distinguished by providing the finest Services during the Corona pandemic according to a deliberate plan that began with educating employees about precautionary measures and electronic connectivity during the period of remote work.
Members of the committee put forward a number of themes on the distribution of land to the members of the same family to achieve social communication, and reviewed the needs of the people of Kalba to be met according to short and long-term plans.
