Sharjah24: Al Qasimia University (AQU) organised a lecture to shed light on the achievements of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, which was presented by His Excellency Ali Mehd Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) , on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of His Highness' continuous giving as Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah.
The lecture entitled “Fifty years of the promise of giving and the achievement of construction - as long as our ruler and our wise”  was held at the university theater on Wednesday morning, in the presence of a large number of academics, administrators and students, led by His Excellency Professor Jamal Al-Tarifi, President of Al Qasimia University, and His Excellency Prof. Dr. Awad Al-Khalaf, Director of AQU, the Vice-Chancellors of the University, his assistants, deans of faculties and other students and employees of the university.

His Excellency Ali Mehd Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Consultative Council, confirmed that the Emirate of Sharjah has made distinguished strides in various fields, whether in education, health, housing, humanitarian work and family care, based on the wise visions and directives of His Highness Ruler of Sharjah.

Al-Suwaidi expressed his happiness to be in this great educational edifice, which is shined among a number of universities founded by His Highness Ruler of Sharjah ; to be an educational beacon spreading education and graduating outstanding students each year. 

At the end of the lecture, Jamal Al-Tarifi thanked honorable guest by presenting the shield of Al Qasimia University to the Chairman of the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah; In recognition of his outstanding efforts and participation in enriching this historic occasion.
