Sharjah24: Sharjah Lights Festival continues its creative shows in the three cities of the eastern region, Khorfakkan, Kalba and Dibba Al-Hisn, amid a remarkable interaction from the audience, according to His Excellency Khalid Jassim Al Midfa Chairman of Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA)
In statements to “Sharjah 24”, during his inspection tour of the performance sites, Al Midfa said that the 11th edition is filled with many creative and artistic works that highlight the emirate's historical and civilizational heritage.
He added that the festival's organising committee is keen, through these inspection tours, to touch the audience's interaction with the performances, and to identify the proposals of the authority's partners that would build and develop what the festival offers each year.
The head of the Commerce and Tourism Development Authority explained that the festival in its current version presents its shows on the facades of government departments in Kalba, Al Rafisah Dam in Khorfakkan, and Sheikh Rashid bin Ahmed Al Qasimi Mosque in Dibba Al Hisn.
His Excellency invited the amateur and professional audience to participate in the festival's photography competition and present their creativity in photographing the 10 festival sites and performances at the emirate level through the festival's website: https://www.sharjahlightfestival.ae/
