Sharjah24: Intisar Al Obaidli, curator of the Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization, expressed her happiness at the opening of the exhibition "Wonder and Inspiration Venice and the Arts of Islam" exhibition, which is organised by the Sharjah Museums Authority in cooperation with the Venice Foundation for Civil Museums, and is held at the Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization.
She explained to "Sharjah 24": that the exhibition aims to showcase the cultural and artistic exchange between the Arab world and the city of Venice, and the exhibition includes 72 art holdings and documents, which are presented for the first time in the Arab world.
Al Obaidli pointed out that the collections were divided into three themes: "Encounters", "Dialogues" and "Inspiration", where each of these themes includes a bouquet of documents and artworks from the Islamic world and Venice.
