Sharjah 24: Several government entities participated in the UAE Innovation Month in the Emirate of Sharjah, with innovative projects presented at the University of Sharjah from February 14 to 18.
Majid Al Mazmi from the Department of Town Planning and Survey in Sharjah, stated that the department is participating in the UAE Innovation Month with a “simulation” project in cooperation with the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority.
He added that this aims to determine the type of roads that will be implemented in the future, according to an assessment of the area.
Maitha Al Suwaidi, administrator of real estate projects registration in the Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department, confirmed that the department is participating in the "Real Estate Developers Portal" project.
She maintained that the project assists developers and investors in registering all their transactions through this electronic portal, in which contracts are certified and electronic payment is made without personally attending to the department.
Dr. Osama Wahba, a scientific researcher at the Environment and Protected Areas Authority in Sharjah, indicated that the authority is participating with the "micro-fragmentation of coral reefs" project in order to produce thousands of colonies in a sustainable manner and at a low cost without harming the marine environment.
