Sharjah24: The blood donation event, which was organised by Al Rahmaniyah Suburb Council (ARSC) affiliated to the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs in the Government of Sharjah, in cooperation with the Blood Transfusion and Research Center in Sharjah, witnessed a great turnout from the people of the suburb, reaching to fifty donors.
This campaign was organised within the framework of the council's plan to enhance its activities in the field of social responsibility and support volunteering work, emphasising the importance of donating blood as part of the humanitarian initiatives, contributing in encouraging people to care for each other and strengthening community cohesion.
A large number of suburban residents wishing to donate blood flocked to contribute in this campaign, bringing the number of participants to 50 blood donours in light of the capabilities provided by the Al Rahmaniyah Suburb Council , along with the Blood Transfusion and Research Center.
Commenting on this, His Excellency Atef Ahmed Karani, member of the Rahmaniyah Suburb Council, the general coordinator of the campaign, lauded the great participation of the people and voluntarily donated blood to save the lives of others.
At the end of the campaign, Karani honoured the working team of the Sharjah Blood Transfusion and Research Center.
