Sharjah24: Within the framework of its humanitarian projects and social initiatives, aimed at empowering the needy families in the city of Al Dhaid, the Al Dhaid Municipal Council (ADMC) took the initiative to pay the value of consumers’ purchases for a number of needy families.
The initiative, which is implemented for the second time, comes as part of the Council’s social and humanitarian vision, translating the visions of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to ensure providing the needs of lower-income families. This also comes as part of the celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi assuming the reins in Sharjah.

The initiative, which was supported by the chairman and members of the Municipal Council, aimed to communicate with groceries and shops in the city of Al Dhaid and pay the value of purchases and bills for needy families in order to secure their food products, consumer goods, and their necessary household needs.

His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Abdullah bin Howaiden, Chairman of the Municipal Council in Al Dhaid, accompanied by a number of members, checked the families’ purchases from various shops and groceries in Al Dhaid city, and paid the families’ purchases, without their knowledge.

The Chairman of the Municipal Council in Al Dhaid has highlighted the importance of such initiatives that contribute in supporting the needy segments in society.

Bin Howaiden has further indicated that the charitable initiative extended a helping hand to fifteen poor and indebted families, aiming to meet their needs by ensuring to pay the costs of their bought goods from different shops in the city.
