Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Supervising Committee of the UAE Innovation Month in Sharjah, said: “The ‘Sharjah Innovates’ Virtual Forum, to run from February 14 to 18, is aimed at educating the public about the concept of innovation, and the importance of making it a lifestyle by benefiting from the experiences of the participating guests who will enrich the discussions and proceedings of the forum through their experiences in the field of innovation and creativity, inculcating them as a daily habit practised by the individual in his life”.
He added: “The ‘Sharjah Innovates’ Virtual Forum is a perfect and supportive platform for all talented and distinguished innovators and creative individuals in various sectors that serve and support the policies and directions of the Emirate of Sharjah and the UAE, presenting the country as a destination for innovation and an ideal incubating environment for creators, innovators and inventors from all over the world”.
A number of specialists in the field of innovation and functional creativity will participate in the forum, who will present their unique and rich experiences in the field of innovation, and the role it plays in serving the directions of the UAE government, in addition to various innovative practices in government work, the relationship of innovation with work development and performance, and linking innovation with the outputs and directions of the country.
The participation of the Emirate of Sharjah in the UAE Innovation Month is part of the government's continuous efforts to foster a culture of innovation in the government sector by celebrating creative innovators and highlighting their achievements that have made a positive change in the lives and future of individuals.
