Top Entities to Join UAE Innovation Month in Sharjah

The Supervising Committee for the UAE Innovation Month in Sharjah is hosting 12 workshops that review the most prominent topics in innovation and creativity, in partnership with leading government organisations and private entities that will collectively present about 45 projects and initiatives that consolidate Sharjah’s global position as a centre of knowledge, innovation and creativity, and an incubator of ideas and environment for creative and talented people in the Emirate in all fields. The activites will also see a strong participation by students from various universities and colleges in the Emirate.

Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Supervising Committee of the UAE Innovation Month in Sharjah, said: “The UAE Innovation Month is an opportunity to highlight the most prominent innovative ideas and solutions that serve government work and facilitate the provision of services to the public. 

“The platform also offers unlimited opportunities and horizons for creative excellence in environment by employing the skills of active national cadres to come up with distinguished initiatives and projects, contributing to the advancement of the government work system in accordance with the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.”

Al Suwaidi added, "Through these events, we are keen to enhance the position of the Emirate of Sharjah and the UAE as a global innovation centre by strengthening communication between innovation pioneers and motivating everyone to participate and interact with everything that would advance the various aspects of life in the emirate."

The participation of the Emirate of Sharjah in the UAE Innovation Month is part of the government's continuous efforts to foster a culture of innovation in the government sector by celebrating creative innovators and highlighting their achievements that have made a positive change in the lives and future of individuals.
