This came during the first periodic meeting in 2022 held recently by the heads and directors of the departments of the SCFA at the Wasit Wetland Centre. The meeting was headed by Dr. Khawla Abdul Rahman Al Mulla, Secretary-General, SCFA, Moudhi bint Mohammed Al Shamsi, Head of the Family Development Centers Department, HE Salha Ghabish, Head of the Cultural and Media Office, Dr. Hessa Khalfan Al Ghazal, Executive Director of the Sharjah Child-Friendly Office, Eman Rashid Saif, Director of the Health Promotion Department, Hanadi Saleh Al Yafei, Director of the Child Safety Department.
The meeting discussed the results of the successful integration of initiatives related to family and child issues through the “Networking - Tashbeek" Initiative, launched by the SCFA General Secretariat to unify similar initiatives between the different departments under one initiative. The aim is to enhance support mechanisms established for those initiatives and expand the range of beneficiaries.
"The meeting aims to unify the frameworks for all the council’s initiatives, projects and departments in line with the objectives of our strategic plan 2022 approved by the wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, President of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in Sharjah, in January 2021," said Dr. Khawla Al Mulla.
She pointed to the importance of integration between departments in planning, implementation, and performance development processes, in addition to embracing innovative work policies to advance the family, developing performance in line with global practices and future requirements, based on the efficient use of resources.
Al Mulla also stressed the need to develop new measures of productivity, adopt an unprecedented paradigm shift in the application of best practices, and serve family issues in a balanced manner, organized planning, and professionally.
The attendees affirmed their full commitment to embracing creative mechanisms and joining forces to achieve qualitative integration to activate the role of the family in society and empower it to perform its functional roles in accordance with the modern developments and achieve development for all its members in line with the comprehensive renaissance witnessed by the Emirate of Sharjah.
