Family Affairs Committee to further support the Disabled

Sharjah24: The Family Affairs Committee of the Consultative Council of the Emirate of Sharjah affirmed that it will continue its roles in caring for people with disabilities.
Headed by Fatima Ali Al Muhairi, Chairperson of the Committee, the meeting was held on Friday morning at the Consultative Council's headquarters in Sharjah, as part of the Advisory Council’s work for the third regular session of the tenth legislative term, in which it also discussed its various plans and programmes for the upcoming period. 

At the beginning of the meeting, the committee reviewed the results of its visit to the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, where they were briefed with the various services provided for people with disabilities, in addition to meeting with Sheikha Jameela bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Director General of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS), and discussing vital aspects of support for the Disabled according to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, standards in supporting the Disabled.
