Sharjah 24: Brigadier General Younis Al Hajri, Director of the Ports and Airports Police Department at Sharjah Police (SP), received a delegation from the Abu Dhabi Police (ADP), headed by Brigadier General Jamal Jumaa Habash, Director of the K9 Security Inspection Department, accompanied by a number of specialised officers in ADP.
The visit aims to conduct a benchmarking comparison and exchange best practices and experiences in the field of K9 security inspection.
Brigadier General Al Hajri welcomed the visiting delegation, expressing his happiness with this visit, which confirms the keenness of the two sides to strengthen cooperation frameworks to support common goals in all areas of police and security work, in line with the strategy of the Ministry of Interior aimed at enhancing cooperation and exchanging experiences in security work.
Lieutenant-Colonel Dr. Ahmed Adel Al Maamari, Head of the Security Inspection Department “K9” at SP, gave a full explanation to the visiting delegation about the mechanism of work in the Security Inspection Department, including the department’s organisational structure, specialised training programmes, and tasks entrusted to it. In addition to reviewing, the most important innovative and developmental proposals implemented.
Brigadier General Jamal Jumaa Habash, Director of the K9 Security Inspection Department at ADP, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the officials in the K9 Security Inspection Department at SP for the information they provided that was tracked according to international best practices in the field of police dog training, stressing the importance of communication and cooperation between police to develop performance and improve security work.
