Sharjah 24: His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police (SP), accompanied by His Excellency Salem Ali Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Sharjah Municipal Council, and His Excellency Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, Director General of Sharjah Municipality, made an aerial inspection tour that included a number of sites and squares in the city of Sharjah, after being received by Colonel Dr. Pilot Saeed Ghareeb Al Mazrouei, Director of the Air Wing Department.
This comes with the aim of reviewing the security, environmental situation and the urbanisation of the city of Sharjah.
The tour, during which they were accompanied by Brigadier General Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of Central Operations at Sharjah Police, Engineer Hassan Al Taffaq, Assistant Director General of the Agriculture and Environment Sector, Engineer Khalifa bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, Assistant Director General of the Engineering and Buildings Sector, Khalid bin Falah Al Suwaidi, Assistant Director General of the Customer Service Sector, and Saif Al Tunaiji, Director of the Legal Affairs Department, included a number of areas in Sharjah, including Al Saja’a and industrial areas, and Al Nahda and Al Taawun areas, in addition to reviewing the traffic situation in those areas.
His Excellency Major General Al Shamsi stressed that the tour was an embodiment of the strategy of the Ministry of Interior, and the Sharjah Police's keenness to enhance the quality of security and community life in the Emirate, praising the role of the Sharjah Municipal Council in the prosperity and development of its services in the environmental field, and achieving the best levels of comfort, security and safety for individuals.
His Excellency pointed to the importance of the role played by the strategic partners in the success of the joint integrative process in the security of the Sharjah community.
For his part, His Excellency Salem Ali Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Sharjah Municipal Council, confirmed that the Municipal Council and the Sharjah Municipality are working to enhance permanent cooperation and coordination with the Sharjah Police and the concerned authorities in the Emirate to improve the security and safety system to all citizens and residents, in line with the visions and objectives of the Emirate.
In the same context, His Excellency Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, Director General of Sharjah Municipality, praised the great role played by the Sharjah Police and its keenness to maintain the security and safety of community members, and continuous coordination with the Municipal Council in various common issues to enhance the appearance of the Emirate, eliminate all negative behaviours, and raising community members' awareness of the need to abide by regulations and laws.
The Chairman of the Sharjah Municipal Council and the Director General of Sharjah Municipality also valued the efforts of the Air Wing Department and the Sharjah Police to enhance security and safety.
