Sharjah24: The Data issued by the Sharjah Economic Development Department “SEDD” revealed that 296 training programs were organised during the past year 2021, with 3,228 participation from the Department’s employees, with the total number of trainees reaching 83 trainees, as well as the summer training for students from various educational institutions.
Commenting on this, Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Director of the Support Services Department at the Sharjah Economic Development Department, stressed the Department's keenness to exert all efforts and harness all available resources to develop its cadres and prepare them according to the highest standards of efficiency, in line with the Department's interest in providing its human cadres with the appropriate skills that keep pace with the needs of the labour market.
Al Mahmoud emphasises that the Department has implemented many national talent development plans and training programs for its employees, with the aim of raising the level of employee efficiency.
He added that the Department continuities its training program for university students, with the aim of enhancing their skills and knowledge, developing their competencies and capabilities, contributing to enhancing their future achievements in various economic and service activities in the public and private sectors in the country.
Al Mahmoud has further stressed that the Sharjah Economic Development Department is constantly seeking to raise the level of efficiency and performance by training all the employees and cadres in the Department, according to its plan that is being developed continuously, in line with the approach and directives of the emirate of Sharjah, aiming to benefit from the youth experiences, energies and capabilities.
