Sharjah24: In line with the transition to a new workweek in the UAE and to adapt to Sharjah’s newly extended weekend from Friday to Sunday, Pulse 95 Radio - Sharjah’s first and only English language radio channel, is marking the next step in its evolution with the launch of three new shows to meet the changing needs of its audiences.
The new shows and revamped programming schedule will deliver timely, compelling content to appeal to a broader audience base throughout the week. Two popular presenters on Pulse 95 will helm two new shows while the third show will be hosted by a fresh voice as part of the radio station’s strategy to introduce exceptional talent to its lineup of presenters.
‘The Buzz’ of the world of entertainment
Pulse 95 Radio ushered in the start of its revamped programming schedule with the launch of ‘The Buzz’ on January 14, 2022. This entertainment show with Mikail Atiyeh – a well-known geek and gaming enthusiast with a fondness for comic books, animation, blockbuster movies and more - focuses on local and international pop culture, movie reviews, and new releases on Netflix and Apple TV, amongst others.
‘The Buzz’ keeps listeners updated on the latest from the world of comics and entertainment and offers insightful video game reviews. Atiyeh will spill the beans on trending topics on the internet over the weekend from Friday to Monday, from 8pm to 9pm.
Inspiring personalities on ‘Good To Great’
In the ‘Good To Great’, a podcast-format weekly talk show aired every Sunday from 4pm to 5pm, Alya Alnoimi – a new voice on Pulse 95 Radio with a passion for anime, gaming, Japanese language and other cultures – will draw out the successful habits, lessons learnt and personal inspirations of leading personalities. The show, repeated on Fridays from 4pm to 5pm, is about role models who have made a difference and will focus on their career path and their journey to success.
Keep your ‘Eyez On’ Sharjah
Aisha Al Mazmi -a self-proclaimed ‘casual gamer’ and pop-culture enthusiast – will keep listeners up to date with all the latest happenings and events in Sharjah every weekday from Monday to Thursday from 4pm to 5pm. ‘Eyez On’ will track the latest news on real estate, health, education, culture, and more in the emirate and highlight everything from a corporate exhibition to a family funfair to help residents plan out their three-day weekend.
