Sharjah24: Dibba Al Hisn Municipal Council (DHMC) held its third regular meeting for the seventeenth annual term of 2022, headed by His Excellency Ahmed Sultan Al Dhahouri, Vice President of the Municipal Council, and in the presence of His Excellency Taleb Abdullah Al Yahyai, Director of Dibba Al Hisn Municipality, and members of the Municipal Council and the Secretariat of the Municipal Council.
The attendees were briefed on the latest developments regarding the development and maintenance of roads in the city of Dibba Al Hisn, which were previously discussed with the city's Roads and Transport Authority. The meeting also discussed road works in the western neighborhood implemented by the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority. During the meeting, the report received from the Chairman of the Land Allocation Committee of the Council was also reviewed.
The members of the Municipal Council discussed also some of the proposals submitted to develop the city of Dibba Al-Hisn. In addition, the Council discussed ways of coordination and cooperation with the Sharjah Institute for Heritage and Dibba Al-Hisn Municipality regarding the activities of the 17th edition of Sharjah Heritage Days.
The members of the Municipal Council also discussed the most important proposed projects presented to the Sharjah Directorate of Public Works for the year 2022, especially with regard to development projects in the city, in addition to some topics raised by the Farm Affairs Committee.
At the end of the meeting, the attendees discussed the working mechanism of the "emergency committee" concerned with rainfall and preparing for it during the coming period.
His Excellency Ahmed Sultan Al Dhahouri, Vice President of the Municipal Council, stressed the keenness of the Municipal Council and the Municipality Administration to provide the best services to citizens and residents in Dibba Al-Hisn, contributing in achieving well-being, prosperity and happiness for all residents, in implementation of the directives of our wise leadership.
