Sharjah 24: Dibba Al Hisn Municipal Council (DHMC) held its first meeting for the 17th annual term of the first regular session for 2021-2022.

The meeting was chaired by Ahmed Sultan Al Dhahouri, Vice President of the DHMC, in the presence of Taleb Abdullah Al Yahyai, Director of Dibba Al Hisn Municipality, and other members of the Municipal Council.

It was held based on Emiri Decree No. (34) of 2021, issued by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, regarding the invitation of municipal councils in Sharjah to convene for the first regular session of the 17th annual term.

The decision of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah also stipulated a raise in the pensions of 453 retired federal police officers who were stationed in Sharjah, applied retroactively to 3 years back, which makes their salaries reach 17,500 AED.

The Council discussed and reviewed several issues related to municipal affairs such as the report of the real estates' affairs committee and the land allocation committee, and the general committee’s report of studying the works of the annual terms and transferring them to the competent authorities to take the necessary action towards it.

Ahmed Sultan Al Dhahouri expressed his great gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his great and constant support to the Council to improve the level of services provided to all citizens and residents of Sharjah.
