Sharjah 24: Dr. Wissam Mamdouh's first personal exhibition opened at the Arab Cultural Club in Sharjah in the presence of Club Chairman, Dr. Omar Abdel Aziz and Club Director Ibrahim Saeed Butti. About twenty-five pieces were on display, ranging from drawings to photographs.
The artist says that she is drawn to landscapes and seeks to bring them to life in her work, whether through painting or photography.
Dr. Omar Abdel Aziz, in his review of the show, said that the artist, Dr. Wissam Mamdouh, was able to bridge the gap between abstraction and 3D artwork, and her works exhibited a stunning range of sceneries from the UAE and outside.
