Sharjah 24: Dr. Sulaiman Sarhan Al Zaabi, Chairman of Kalba Municipal Council, confirmed that 2022 will be a year full of progressive achievements in Kalba.
The Municipal Council valued the efforts of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and his follow-up to all projects progressing in the city.
In an exclusive interview with "Sharjah 24"; Dr. Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Council, announced that 2022, as described by His Highness the Ruler, will be the year of Kalba, which is indicated by the number of projects being done in various fields.
He explained that after the completion of several major projects, including the new Corniche, and with the beginning of the new year, work is still going on in full swing throughout the city, advancing its infrastructure, building roads, and increasing tourist facilities.
Al Zaabi indicated that Kalba is on the verge of developing several rest areas, hanging gardens, in addition to “Jabal Kitab” rest area. Most of these projects will be completed in 2022.
The head of the municipal council stressed that the great development movement that the city is witnessing enhances its position in tourism and contributes to improving the quality of life for the residents.
