The Exhibition, which concludes Friday, was inaugurated by Dr. Sulaiman Sarhan Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Kalba Municipal Council.
In the presence of Eng. Abdul Rahman Al Naqbi, Director of Kalba Municipality, members of the municipal council, and a number of government officials, the attendees visited the exhibition pavilions where they learned about vegetables, fruit, dairy products, honey and other local products on display.
In his exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24”, Al Zaabi said that the first of its kind exhibition aims to enhance the agricultural and livestock wealth in the city, and encourage Emirati farmers and stock breeders to continue their efforts, develop their business and support marketing their products.
Al Zaabi affirmed the keenness of the Council and government departments in Kalba, to support the citizens and those responsible for animal production by exempting them from government fees in the vegetable and fruit markets and allocating free places for them to display and sell their products.
